1. Scope

This policy explains how ACOMP (acomp.app) handles information. It covers account data, the operational data your organization stores in the platform, and basic usage data.

2. What We Collect

• Account data: name, work email, company, role.
• Operational data: the jobs, quotes, customers, equipment, tickets, and reports your team enters. This belongs to your organization.
• Usage data: basic logs and analytics to keep the service secure and improve it.

3. Tenant Data Covenant

ACOMP is multi-tenant. Your data is isolated from every other tenant at the database layer. We do not use one customer's operational data to benefit another customer, and we never sell your data. Any industry benchmarks are built only from anonymized, aggregated, opt-in data that cannot be traced to any company. This is a founding commitment, not a policy we can quietly change.

4. How We Use Data

To provide and secure the service, deliver transactional emails (invitations, password resets, notifications), provide support, and — only with your data, for your organization — power in-product AI features. AI features are human-in-the-loop; they assist, they do not act unilaterally.

5. Sub-processors

We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) to operate the service. They process data only to provide their function and under confidentiality obligations.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is tenant-scoped and audited. We follow least-privilege practices for internal access.

7. Data Retention & Export

You can export your data at any time. On cancellation we retain data for a reasonable window so you can export, then delete it on request.
